Welded Tube/Pipe

Stainless steel welded tube/pipe is manufactured by rolling a stainless steel strip or sheet into a tubular shape, followed by longitudinal welding. This process can be carried out using either thermoforming or cold forming methods. Once the metal is shaped, it is welded along its length using techniques such as Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) or Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), selected based on the specific material properties and application requirements.

As a leading welded pipe supplier, we offer products in the following grades of materials and standards:

  • Materials

Stainless Steel: TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L, TP316H, TP321, TP321H, TP347, TP347H, etc.

Duplex Steel: UNS S31803, S32205, S31500, S32750, S32760, S32304, S32900

  • Standards

Welded Stainless Steel Tubes: ASTM A249, ASTM A269, ASTM A270, ASTM A554, etc.

Welded Stainless Steel Pipes: ASTM A312, etc.

Welded Duplex Steel Tubes: ASTM A789, etc.

Welded Duplex Steel Pipes: ASTM A790, etc.

Our comprehensive range ensures we meet diverse application requirements with high-quality welded pipes and tubes.

Features of Welded Tube and Pipe

  • Cost-Effective: Welded tubes and pipes are generally more economical to produce compared to seamless ones.

  • Versatility in Sizes and Shapes: Available in a wide range of sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, offering flexibility for various applications.

  • High Strength and Durability: Despite having a weld seam, welded tubes and pipes maintain high strength and durability.

  • Corrosion Resistance: Often made from materials that are resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for harsh environments.

  • Ease of Fabrication: Easier to fabricate and customize, allowing for bespoke solutions tailored to specific project requirements.

Applications of Welded Tube and Pipe

Welded tubes and pipes are widely used in architectural applications, hypodermic needles, the automotive industry, the food and beverage industry, the marine industry, etc., due to their strength, durability, resistance to corrosion, and versatility.

When selecting stainless steel welded tubes/pipes for a project, it's important to consider the specific requirements of the application, including the type of environment the pipe/tube will be exposed to, the pressure and temperature it will need to withstand, and the required standards for the industry.
