Alloy 321 (UNS 32100/1.4541/X6CrNTi810) is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance at normal temperatures. Also, it has good resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800–1500°F (427–816°C). Alloy 321 has higher rupture properties than alloys 304 and 304L.

321/321H stainless steel exhibits excellent corrosion resistance both at normal and high temperature. The titanium content of minimum five times the C %(4 times content on 321H) gives the material also possesses good creep strength, good resistance to chromium carbide precipitation and is very resistant to oxidation and intergranular corrosion up to 850ºC. 321H( UNS 32109) has higher carbon(0.04-0.10) version of the 321.
