ASTM A213 is a standard specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic steel tubes for boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger applications, and is widely recognized as a key standard for ASTM A213 stainless steel tube used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.

A niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, TP347 is modified from Type 304 through the addition of niobium (Nb) to bind free carbon. This design eliminates susceptibility to sensitization and intergranular corrosion during high-temperature exposure or welding, making it an optimal choice for high-temperature operating conditions.
