ASTM A790 This specification covers seamless and straight-seam welded duplex stainless steel pipe intended for general corrosive  service, with particular emphasis on resistance to stress  corrosion cracking. 

Grade S32205 is the unified numbering system (UNS) designation. The "22" means approximately 22% Chromium, and the "05" means approximately 5% Nickel.

The 2205 duplex stainless steel pipe (UNS S32205) offers outstanding mechanical performance, featuring approximately twice the yield strength of standard 300-series austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316. What's more, good toughness and ductility are also an advantage. And it offers much better resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (CSCC), pitting, and crevice corrosion than 316L stainless steel.
